Crazy for Jane with Emily Lacy and Wreck of the Zephyr

crazy.3.jpg

As part of an ongoing series of music and performance events at High Energy Constructs: Wreck of the Zephyr churns out stripped-down acoustic chant-rants, Emily Lacy lures a new time folk with the lull of old time traditional banjo playing, and Crazy for Jane offers a sweet set of desperate serenades. Crazy for Jane is sister Josepha Conrad and brother Philipp Conrad. Their music is pop and folk and sometimes a little jazz. They are based in Berlin where the gloomy city of Brecht and historical upheaval inspires their songs. Crazy for Jane’s debut album “Desperate Serenade” was released in June 2006.
